How Location-Based Apps Can Stave Off the ‘Creepy Factor’

Sometimes, an app pushes the boundary of what’s socially acceptable, and it fails miserably. Such is the case with the most recent victim, check-in based pariah Girls Around Me. It's the most recent "creepy" app to gain public attention, stirring up all sorts of controversy about location-based apps.
